Our pork and lamb is raised here on the farm with around 50 acres of woods and pasture to free graze. All of our animals live in their family groups from start to finish. All the feed we buy is grown locally.We are in a USDA organic transitioning program and plan to raise our own organic feeds soon. The pork we raise (Berkshire) pork is meant to be some of the best pork available .It is naturally lean and the fat is marbleized throughout the cut. The type of sheep we raise here is Tunis. We have chosen this breed because originating from Tunisia they have a natural hardiness to the warmer climate.In addition ,their meat is Delicious.
