I did this for many years up in Indiana and it still looks great. Do it right the first time. I have seen some around here and it did not look very good or hold up well. I add fiber mesh to my concrete which gives it a 3000 lbs per square inch strength. This gives it the strength it needs to get through the winters without damage.
