We have developed a 2D landscape design software called EZ-Plant over the past 17 years and are about to have a new release. This update will include identification of native plants, xeriscape plants, Green Roof Plants, and plants in a metric system as sold by Nurseries in the UK and Australia. We also have wildflowers, ornamental grasses, wetland plants and bog plants identified for easy use. Our databases of schedule templates, plants and plant symbols make it very simple to create professional contract drawings while you are working in the 3 CAD systems that our program has been developed as a seamless add-on. With EZ-Plant you will have the capabilities to show ground covers or mulch in a hatch pattern. You select the spacing offset within the plant schedule database , and then the program automatically adds up the quantities or area of hatch, and you simply click and label whichever hatches chosen and the quantity is displayed in seconds. Then a cost estimate of all the plants and options for installed pricing can be tabulated. The plants in the Imperial (USA Canada) version include nurseries from all corners of the USA and includes plant hardiness zones (ie. 3-7), mature height and spread, Botanical & Common Names, the sizes and prices of every plant, just as they are sold at each nursery, the native origin of USA Plants in USA and global origin in the metric version.
