Jensen Construction, Inc (JCI) would like to be considered for your reclamation seeding work. JCI is a long standing, stable company with a superb reputation and has extensive knowledge in all facets of revegetation work and has devised innovative techniques and approaches by modifying equipment to meet challenging revegetation situations. JCI has a farming background, Wyoming headquarters, and has been in business for thirty plus years. JCI was established in 1985 with our initial work reclaiming Abandoned Mine Land (AML) projects. At that time, there was no commercial seeding equipment available that could withstand the harsh AML conditions. JCI designed and built customized reclamation equipment to handle these harsh conditions. JCI then expanded into DOT, railroad, pipeline, coal mines in the Powder River Basin, AML projects in Hannah, WY, northeastern Wyoming, and Gas Hills area, uranium pits in the Shirley Basin area, DOR and railroad projects in the Sandhills of Nebraska, and DOT projects in the Snowy Range and Seminoe Dam area. Over the years, JCI has reclaimed 20,000 plus acres of Department of Transportation (DOT) work, 500 plus miles BNSF, UPRR, and DM&E railroad disturbance, 10,000 plus acres mine reclamation, Abandoned Mine Lands (AML), county, pipeline, U.S.F.S., and some private sector jobs. JCI’s core personnel are MSHA certified and railroad safety approved. Given the nature of the geographic areas reclaimed over the years, JCI has adapted to the local conditions whether it is the sand hills of Nebraska, the desert mountain areas of Wyoming, or the plains of Wyoming. JCI has seeded both highly tilled work surfaces to very rough harsh surface environments left roughed to prevent wind scour and to protect the seed.
