The Lucky Dog Diner is one of the most notable historic locations in all of Southwest Florida. After being delivered to its current location from Witchita back in 1955, this diner opened as the Bel-Bree and operated under the name for forty years. It later became Uncle B's Coney Dogs. In 1999 Toni Kender acquired it and the business became known as Toni's Place. Toni's closed in 2004, and Dawn Surak reopened the building in 2007 as the Lucky Dog Diner. The diner has 12 original stools and tables for sixteen. It has a brand new retro face while maintaining a virtually unmodified structure. With its outstanding menu of traditional Diner favorites as well as updated healthy meals, this gem of Southwest Florida continues to shine, drawing diner fans, historical buffs and the hungry traveller
