Charley and Patricia Comeaux opened for business in 1994, in Vinton, LA as "Charley's Cajun Sausage & Boudin". As business grew, the name was confused with other businesses in the area with similar names. We changed the name to "Comeaux's Cajun Gold". We opened an additional restaurant, "Comeaux's" in Dequincy, LA in 2004. After Hurricane Rita hit in 2005, we had to close the businesses. In July 2010, we reopened in Dequincy, where we became known for our "Quality Cajun Food". In May of this year, we opened "Comeaux's Restaurant" at our current location. Since opening, our business has already increased.
