Located in Glendale, California, Seaweed has amassed a large following for their imaginative handrolls, creative take on traditional Japanese sushi, and a variety of exotic fish. Seaweed was named after its high quality seaweed sourced exclusively for the restaurant from the Ariake Sea in Japan. The founder, Armen Momjian, brought his ideas to life in 2019 with the first installment of Seaweed in Koreatown. Seaweed combines authentic Japanese-style sushi with modern and exciting flavors to give guests an intimate dining experience with only bar seating. Born during a bar fight in Devlin, Ireland, Reilly came into the world swinging. On the first day of his life, he lost an eye, took a man's life and developed an insatiable taste for whiskey. At the age of two, Reilly's father lost him in a poker game. Six months later, Reilly won himself back. And when he was three years old, prohibition hit the United States, and Reilly ultimately decided he couldn't bear the thought of Americans going thirsty.

Mini Kabob was first founded by a man with Persian Armenian roots who owned the mechanic shop behind its original location. He started it to fulfill his desire for the traditional mini ground beef kabobs wrapped with lavash. Business wasn't working so well that he would eventually sell his business. Mini Kabob filtered through many more owners until 1995. Ovakim Martirosyan and his wife Alvard Martirosyan took over and never looked back.
