Dr. Lizhou Huang, MD, completed his medical studies at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, followed by residency and chief residency at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, California, and fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. His fascination with the gastrointestinal system stems from its critical role as a major interface with our environment, coupled with the vast opportunities for ongoing discovery and research within this ever-expanding specialty. Dr. Huang is known for his exceptional ability to explain complex medical concepts, diseases, and anatomical details to his patients, ensuring they leave their appointments with a clearer understanding of their health. His patients frequently express their gratitude for the time he invests in educating them.

Dr. Babak Firoozi is a board-certified gastroenterologist who sees a broad range of patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions. His practice includes general gastroenterology with interests in GERD, peptic ulcer disease, colorectal cancer screening, IBS, IBD, viral hepatitis, and fatty liver disease. His clinical interests include hepatobiliary disease, liver disease, and IBD. In addition to upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, Dr. Firoozi has specialized training in capsule endoscopy, ambulatory pH testing, esophageal manometry, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and enteral stents (esophageal, gastroduodenal, colon).
