Murthy S. Madhira, MD, maintains a position within the Monroe Gastroenterology Clinic located in Monroe, Michigan. Within the practice, Dr. Madhira performs a wide variety of endoscopic procedures such as EGD's, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, and hemorrhoidal banding; to name a few. Double board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Mahira offers endoscopic services to the patients of the Surgical Institute of Monroe as well as to numerous local facilities. Mercy Hospital honored Dr. Madhira with a Humanitarian Service Award for all of his passionate efforts and achievements three years in a row, from 2011 to 2013. When Dr. Madhira is not serving his patients, he annually heads a free medical screening camp; along with offering colon cancer screenings within his community.
