Jackson H. Kuan, MD, maintains a position at his own private practice, Jackson H Kuan LLC, located in Flushing, New York. Dr. Kuan graduated from the Albany Medical College of Union University where he received his medical degree in May of 1986. His internship and residency in internal medicine occurred at Roosevelt Hospital and was awarded the best resident of the year. Believing that additional training was essential, he then went on to a Gastroenterology fellowship at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. In 1992, he opened his gastroenterology practice in Flushing, New York. Dr. Kuan maintains professional memberships in the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Association of Chinese American Physicians.
