Dr C Ola Landgren, is a board-certified hematologist/oncologist who specializes in multiple myeloma, smoldering myeloma, monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance, and related plasma cell disorders. His research approaches include detailed genomic characterization of tumor cells and cells in the bone marrow microenvironment, partnered with novel drug development, and advanced methods to rule out minimal residual disease (MRD). Dr Landgren has developed several novel strategies designed to identify MRD detection post-therapy.

Dr Gilberto Lopes is a medical oncologist and researcher who focuses on new anticancer drug development and global oncology. He has published more than 270 scientific papers and has led hundreds of clinical trials. Dr Lopes was the main investigator of Keynote 42, a clinical trial that demonstrated the efficacy of the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab in people living with lung cancer. This groundbreaking study led to one of the FDA approvals of pembrolizumab. Additionally, Dr Lopes has contributed significantly to the development of several chemotherapies and targeted medications that address specific molecular changes in tumors.

Dr Kazandjian is a hematologic oncologist and clinician-scientist whose clinical research focuses on multiple myeloma and its precursor plasma cell dyscrasias (monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) and smoldering myeloma). Dr Kazandjian has a particularly strong interest in identifying high-risk smoldering myeloma patients who may benefit from early treatment strategies and the development of early-interventional clinical trials targeting this patient population. In addition, his translational research interests lie in the development of modern and novel laboratory techniques, including next generation sequencing (NGS) to advance monitoring of minimal residual disease (MRD) and the immune cell repertoire during treatment.
