Sandy's favorite part of dermatology care is getting to know all of her patients on a personal level and building lifelong relationships around the specialty that she loves. She treats her patients like family, and she welcomes anyone that would like to join her ever-growing family. Sandy is well known in the community for her dedication to her patients. She is very happy to stay in the Pasadena/Arcadia communities to continue to dedicate her time to taking care of patients of all ages.

Dr. Cavender's focus is on adult and pediatric general dermatology, including diagnosis and treatment of moles, rashes, acne, skin conditions, and skin cancer diagnosis and removal. Additionally, Dr. Cavender enjoys performing cosmetic treatments such as Botox and injectable fillers, and feels that from being a woman, she can fully understand what women look for from such procedures. Dr. Cavender is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the California Dermatological Society.
