He earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary society. After medical school, Dr. Richardson completed a one-year internship in Internal Medicine and a three-year residency in Dermatology both at the University of Louisville. Dr. Richardson remains affiliated with the University in his capacity as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Division of Dermatology. He teaches dermatology residents and medical students on a part-time basis.
