Dr. Ian Bourhill is a board-certified plastic surgeon, practicing on Long Island. He received his medical degree from the University of Cape Town and completed his post graduate surgery training at SUNY Stony Brook followed by additional plastic surgery training at Nassau University Hospital/LIPS/ North Shore LIJ and Winthrop University Hospital. His residency training for plastic surgery was performed at SUNY Stony Brook (Surgery) and the LIPS Plastic Surgery Program, through Nassau County University Hospital, with affiliations at North Shore and Winthrop. Dr. Bourhill has been in practice on Long Island for over 25 years and specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures after Mohs surgery.

Sarah Dubinsky, MSN, AGNP-C, is a certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Summa Cum Laude honors at Stony Brook University. She worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) for 6 years at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she provided high-quality and compassionate care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic illnesses. While working as an RN, Sarah earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Stony Brook University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Academic Excellence Award. Sarah developed her love for dermatology through her missionary work in Haiti, where she had the opportunity to help treat and educate people suffering from various skin conditions.

This extensive experience has honed her skills in patient-centered care, patient safety and coordinated healthcare delivery, equipping her with a solid foundation in clinical practice and a deep understanding of compassionate patient care.

Katelin is a licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner at Schweiger Dermatology Group. Katelin began her education at the University of Delaware where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. She then worked as a medical assistant at a dermatology office for two years, where her interest and passion for dermatology began. Katelin went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Pace University where she completed a one year accelerated nursing program. She worked as an oncology nurse for three years while going to school to become a nurse practitioner. She graduated from Pace University in December 2019 with her Master of Science degree in Family Nurse Practitioner studies.

Dr. Wendy Lou specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic surgery. She pursued training in clinical cutaneous laser research and Mohs micrographic surgery at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of New York. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American Academy of Dermatology. She has worked as Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University Department of Dermatology for over 17 years.

Jennifer Booth is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware. She worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) for 6 years at Stony Brook University Hospital, providing high quality patient-centered care. While working as an RN, Jennifer earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Stony Brook University. After finishing school, Jennifer worked as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care. Jennifer chose to pursue a career in dermatology after finding a special interest in treating skin disorders, rashes, and acne. Jennifer enjoys educating patients about overall health and wellness.

Long Island native Dr. Michael Fastenberg is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group in Smithtown, New York. Dr. Fastenberg attended Jericho High School and received his undergraduate degree from Duke University (cum laude). Dr. Fastenberg returned to Long Island after working and living in various places around the world. He received his medical degree from the Stony Brook School of Medicine (Alpha Omega Alpha) and completed his internship in internal medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola. He then completed his dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.

Alexa R. Haemer is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in adult and pediatric patients. Prior to joining Schweiger Dermatology Group, Alexa spent several years working in the dermatology field having multiple roles including administrative as well as clinical. Ms. Haemer's primary focus and dedication is to improve and maintain the health and beauty of her patients' skin as well prevent and minimize the risks of skin cancer and photo-aging.
