I began my career as a nurse for the Unite States Navy. After my career with the Navy I worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Depaul Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. I obtained a masters degree from Old Dominion University and worked as a Nurse Practitioner thereafter. While attending medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School I worked full time as a nurse. After graduation I continued my training in OB/GYN in Buffalo, New York. Upon completion of my residency program I relocated to Chesapeake Virginia, where I have worked in a private practice for the past 16 years. I am a member of various organizations including the American Medical Association, Honor Society Theta Sigma Tau, the Virginia Medical Association, and the Chesapeake Medical Society where I served as President. I am the proud mother of three and grandmother to five. I enjoy spending my free time with my family.
