Dr. Allister D. Arnold has Fellowship training in both Pediatric Radiology and Adult Neuroradiology. He spent the first two years of his career in a large private radiology group where he practiced all aspects of adult and pediatric radiology, including Interventional Radiology. A Pediatric Radiologists is a Radiologist who has received additional training exclusive to medical imaging in children. It is accepted that children are not "little adults" and pediatric sub-specialization of Radiologists, Surgeons, and other physicians is a testament to that fact. Pediatric Radiologists use MRI, ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, CT scans, and x-rays to diagnose and treat illnesses of childhood and adolescence.
