She has displayed this extraordinary level of sensitivity and professional commitment from the very beginning of her career, graduating cum laude from the six-year BA/MD program at Boston University, with a dual degree in medical science and English Literature. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Benjamin Tenney Prize in obstetrics and gynecology. She has received recognition from various publications including being listed in the Guide to America's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists by the Consumers' Research Council of America.

Dr. Carol Anania is nationally recognized as one of today's "Best Doctors" by Castle Connolly. She started her medical career as a graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine, where she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After graduation, Dr. Anania completed a highly selective Society of Reproductive Surgeons fellowship at the Women's Hospital of Houston for Gynecological Reproductive Surgery, and later a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital at Harvard Medical School.
