Dr. Franks is a board certified plastic surgeon who located to Des Moines after completing his subspecialty training in craniofacial and children's reconstructive surgery at the prestigious New York University School of Medicine's Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. Prior to that, he had completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the University of Tennessee. He is the founder and former Medical Director of the Center for Craniofacial and Children's Reconstructive Surgery at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
