EXTREMICURE® Hand Center was founded by Nitin J. Engineer, MD, FACS. Our practice is dedicated to providing the most compassionate and caring environment possible, while also providing state of the art skills in minimally invasive procedures. We are a specialty hand practice and pride ourselves on taking the time to listen to our patients needs so that we may tailor their treatment plan to provide them with the best possible outcome. EXTREMICURE® Hand Center currently offers an extensive range of state of the art minimally invasive, advanced procedures for the management of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper extremity. In addition, we are continually researching and investigating new avenues for the treatment of hand disorders as they are made available. Dr. Engineer is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Surery and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He completed his Doctorate of Medicine at Vanderbilt University in 2000. He then completed a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery with the Division of Plastic Surgery at Southern Illinois University. His particular surgical expertise and interests are minimally invasive hand surgery, including Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release (ECTR), Endoscopic Trigger Release (ETR), endoscopic peripheral neuropathy decompression, arthritis, joint reconstruction, and traumatic hand injuries. He is board certified in both General Surgery and Hand Surgery.

After a complete physical examination by one of our specialists, we obtain only the necessary labs and/or studies as guided by the patients medical history, physical examination and the proposed operation. A complete medical history & physical (H&P) document is now available in a printable form that not only can the surgeon use to sign and place on the chart as a legal document, but the patient can print to use anytime that they need their medical information in the future.
