Dr. Jake is a Southern California native and grew up in near by Cypress. He studied biochemistry at Cal State Long Beach on a President’s Scholarship before graduating with honors from UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Jake continued his dental training at the VA Medical Center Long Beach so that he could develop skills to help patients with more complex needs. Dr. Jake is passionate about being a general dentist because it allows him to to apply all aspects of dentistry to give his patients the care they need. What truly motivates him, however, is developing lasting relationships with his patients. Outside the office, Dr. Jake and his wife, Lauren, are avid world travelers. They love meeting new people around the globe and intend to set foot on all seven continents (currently at five). Closer to home, Dr. Jake loves spending time outside, especially at the beach.

Dr. Ivanov is a specialist in Periodontics with a focus on the treatment of periodontal disease, hard and soft tissue augmentation and dental implantology. He received extensive training in all aspects of Periodontics, and he takes pride in providing his patients with the ability to maintain a healthy and esthetic smile.

Dr. Zell joined Los Alamitos Dental Care in 1998. He is a Southern California native, growing up in southern Orange County and then later in Temecula. He attended UC Irvine for his biology degree, then UCLA for dental school. After graduating in 1994, he furthered his training at UCLA’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program. Dr. Zell enjoys working with kids, helping them develop good dental memories. With adults he values the trust they place in him and works hard to provide them with the most honest, ethical, and high quality care. Dr. Zell loves to share good food and travel with his lovely wife and two daughters. He unwinds at home in his garden. growing some of his own food, surrounded by native California plants. Other interests include photography, tennis and soccer. “Treat people like you want to be treated”

Dr. Hahn is an East Coast native who graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Upon graduation, Dr. Hahn headed west and enrolled at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he graduated as the class valedictorian. Desiring additional training and experience, Dr. Hahn completed a postgraduate residency program at the VA Medical Center of Long Beach, where he continues to treat veterans of all ages. Dr. Hahn is committed to providing excellent dentistry in a comfortable, relaxed and compassionate atmosphere. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hahn is an avid skier, reader, tennis player and world traveler. While he is grateful for his East Coast upbringing, he feels very fortunate to call beautiful Southern California his home. He particularly enjoys exploring the local area with his family and friends, and loves the ability to stay active outdoors all year long. “Collect Moments, Not Things”

Dr. Winer grew up locally right outside the Los Alamitos area. He attended college at UC Riverside with a major in Psychobiology. After college, he went to the USC School of Dentistry and graduated in 2000. Eager to start his dental career, he joined our practice that very same year. Dr. Winer enjoys a wide range of dental services with his favorites being repairing broken teeth and the restoration of Implants. Dr. Winer takes pride in getting to know his patients and making them feel comfortable during their dental visit. In his spare time, Dr. Winer enjoys Golf, Skiing, Traveling and attending Sporting Events. He’s always open to discuss his beloved Trojans and Chicago White Sox. His true love is spending time with his wife and 3 beautiful children. On the weekends you’ll likely find him at the dance studio hanging out with his two daughters or mountain biking with his son. “Do What is Right, Not What is Easy”
