Dr. Akers is a Kansas City native. She's a 1997 graduate of Shawnee Mission South, a 2001 graduate of Wheaton College in Chicago and a 2006 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. She holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
