Founded in 2007 by Julie Lopez, PhD, LICSW, the Viva Center has grown from a handful of clinicians to over 20 licensed practitioners working directly in mental health or complementary practices such as psychiatry, acupuncture, massage, and more. In addition to being heavily trained and experienced in traditional talk therapy, our team of licensed clinicians have completed extensive post-graduate training in one or more methods of brain-therapy (EMDR, Neurofeedback, or Brainspotting). Each clinician has also experienced a 9-month long Trauma-Informed Clinical Practice certificate program, making our team exceptionally educated in and capable of treating reactions to traumatic life events.
