As a board certified clinical nurse specialist, I have been educated in a holistic model of psychiatric/mental health care. I am licensed to diagnose and treat simple and complex mental health problems from adjustment disorder to serious mental illness such as bipolar illness, major depress, anxiety disorder. Child and adolescent behavioral problems associated with ADHD, poor school performance, and parenting problems are also within my area of expertise. My approach is very individualistic ans based upon the goals of each client. I am supportive yet challenging of the client in understanding patterns that come out of their family of origin and may be hindering them in their present life.
