Dr. Bodfish first graduated from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in 1998 with a master's degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine (MAcOM). Five years after starting clinical practice, Dr. Bodfish was selected to participate in the first Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) training to be conducted in the United States. Upon successful completion of this program (also at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine), and a doctoral level internship at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China, he was granted the DAOM degree in 2005.
