Arelys Martinez Hernandez, APRN, FNP-C, first practiced as a physician in Cuba before relocating to Texas to practice as a phlebotomy technician and medical assistant. She then attended the University of Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2021. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Arelys joined Kelsey-Seybold's Family Medicine department as a certified nurse practitioner in February 2026. Aside from care to help people recover from acute illness such as respiratory infections and UTIs, she offers well checks and immunizations to help herpatients live healthier lives. Arelys also manages chronic conditions, including high blood pressure and diabetes.
