The INN at Belden Village was a vision of Dr. C. Herschel Gammill, founder of Cathedral of Life Ministries, Canton, Ohio. He felt called to develop an area ministry that met the spiritual, intellectual and physical needs of youth, adults and seniors. For eleven years he prayed for guidance about how to develop a local campus to meet these needs. When the INN opened in November 2000, his message to the staff at the Inn was “If you are ever in doubt about what to do for a resident consider what you would do if it were your mother and father? Then do exactly that, in love.” Years of professional experience and expertise motivated by a deep compassionate desire to preserve the dignity and joy of life in later years, have produced a senior assisted living residence second to none. We at The Inn at Belden Village believe that our elders are to be honored, respected and treasured. Though the affects of time may take their toll, the value of our loved ones never diminishes. The Inn at Belden Village was designed to give as much assistance as one wants, as little as one needs, while carefully preserving dignity. We believe every life deserves to be cherished, needs to be cared for, and longs to be needed. We know every person desires independence, the freedom to choose, a sense of dignity and self-esteem.
