Trauma Sensitive Yoga can be an important tool when experiencing Trauma and PTSD. My initial focus will be on creating a safe therapeutic environment where we can work on building a trusting relationship. I will offer to teach mindfulness skills, grounding techniques, and self-soothing strategies, reinforce a routine of self-care, and use healthy strategies.
