Founded in 1980, Hospice of the Piedmont is the only community-based nonprofit hospice organization serving Central Virginia. We serve the counties of Albemarle, Augusta, Buckingham, Culpeper, Greene, Fauquier, Fluvanna, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, Orange, and Rappahannock. Hospice of the Piedmont provides high-quality, compassionate care to patients with life-limiting illness and their families, as well as grief support for community members coping with the death of a loved one.
