In 2004, I became the primary caregiver for my father after the passing of my mother. Prior to my mother's passing, my father had open heart surgery and as a result, countless medications were prescribed. Unfortunately, my father was later diagnosed with Orthostatic Hypotension a lifelong condition. This condition caused my father to often lose consciousness and injure himself, which meant frequent visits to the hospital. It became a cumbersome task for me to recall all of his medications and vital information. This is when I decided to create the Life Guardian Medical ID Badge. The response from EMS and physicians was so overwhelming, that I realized the medical ID badge was not only useful and necessary for the seniors; it was Living Information For Everyone
