Dr. Edwin R. Schoenenberger is a graduate of Marquette University's School of Dentistry, and has been practicing for more than 25 years. He received his periodontal degree from the University of Nebraska. He is a caring and committed professional who is dedicated to his patient's periodontal health. He is active in both national, state, and local professional organizations involving both dentistry and periodontology. He has served as an officer and board member of the Waukesha County Dental Society. He is very excited about some of the newest techniques available which allow us to save teeth that, in the past, would have been lost. Dr. Schoenenberger is a conservative surgeon with the patients overall well-being as his top priority.
Dr. Schoenenberger is proud to be one of the first periodontal offices in the area to offer this unique procedure. Conventional periodontal surgery has more loss of gum tissue, more root exposure, and more root sensitivity, compared to the PerioLase™ Laser. The laser has fewer adverse side effects than conventional periodontal surgery and is the only FDA approved laser to treat gum disease.
If needed, sedation can be used to keep you comfortable and relaxed.
