Jay Fastener was started in 1976 in Torrance, California. The Company was founded as a local distributor of Captive Fastener Corporation. Captive Fastener is a manufacturer of self clinching fasteners and has been manufacturing them in New Jersey since 1974. Jay Fastener has been supplying self clinching fasteners to distributors, sheet metal fabricators, circuit board manufacturers and OEM’s consistently for 38 years. In 2014, Jay Fastener was purchased and moved to Chino, California to better serve all of Southern California. In addition, several new product lines have been added to offer our customers a one stop shop for all of their electronic components, hardware and hardware related needs.
