Damewood's Custom Woodworking, LLC, a company nestled in the mountains of West Virginia, is committed to quality craftsmanship. Our family owned business treats each customer with respect to achieve the best possible product for their investment. We are a father and son team with over 30 years experience in this industry. We strive to build quality products using WV timber. VOer the years, we have worked in many different geographic areas, including The Hamptons, NY; New York City; Ohio; Miami and Orlando, FL; Washington D.C; and many other areas across the East Coast. Our products are all built with the same quality of handmade materials. Hardwood plywood is used on the cabinet carcass. The drawers are dovetailed and made of solid maple wood. The doors and frames are also solid wood and have a thickness ranging from 3/4" to 1" based on customer preference. Everything is handmade, and the sanding and finishing is also done by hand. We use a high quality conversion clear varnish that uses an acid catalyst to speed up the drying process. Once cured, this finish is impervious to wear and tear. This finish is similar to that used on automobiles. We do work residentially and commerically, as well as work with contractors. We have different options to fit every budget.
