Carefree Kitchens, Inc. was founded in 1987, in Linthicum Heights, MD, at the location of what is now a company showroom. Originally operating as a wholesale only manufacturer of kitchen and bath cabinets and counters, Carefree continued to grow and expand its products to include the distribution of stock and semi-custom cabinets. In 1990 Carefree opened its first showroom, very small by today’s standards, and began selling to the public for the first time. Our first showroom consisted of two kitchen displays and a few dozen sample doors. In contrast, our present day Linthicum Heights showroom boasts fifteen full displays as well as several vignettes and hundreds of door samples from which our clients can make selections.   Carefree has continued to grow steadily over the years, including the development of two full showroom locations and the representation and promotion of more than twelve major manufacturers of kitchen and bath cabinetry. These suppliers provide a broad range of services and products that meet the needs of our clients, regardless of budget. Our nine Kitchen Design Consultants have a combined experience of more than 195 years in the kitchen industry, easily making Carefree Kitchens one of the most experienced kitchen sales organizations in the region.  The growth of Carefree throughout the 30 years is due in large part to its experienced staff and excellent product lines. Day in and day out, we see to meet the needs and expectations of our valued clients and to provide the level of quality and service we have come to expect from ourselves and from our products.
