With the love of woodworking being passed down through the family line, it comes as no surprise that Jay Wright had an interest in building by the time he was old enough to swing a hammer. Through the years, Jay has worked on many different projects throughout the Finger Lakes region of New York including barn restoration, design and building. He has built and renovated houses as well as cottages along Canandaigua, Keuka Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. Jay's love of barns sparked a desire to take up the age-old craft of timber-framing and he has incorporated mortise and tenon joinery into many of his projects. He loves being able to use reclaimed beams and lumber in his work, bringing a hint of history into new designs.
