American Spool & Packaging, Inc. (dba "AMSPAK") is a forty- six year old, privately-held corporation located in Hartsville, SC. Our primary business is converting sheets and mill rolls of various paper grades into specialty packaging products. Our product line includes, but is not limited to: paper spools and reels; plain & printed folding paper cartons; printed die cut cards for clamshells header, blister cards, hanger cards; hang tags, saw cut and blade cut spiral paper tubes; specialty die cuts; sheeted papers and boards, and slit papers, films and foils. AMSPAK's market is nationwide with limited export. We supply products for a number of companies which are leaders in their respective industry and provide them with all sorts of printed material. Our customer base is over 400 strong and represents a variety of industries (for example: ribbon, textiles, narrow fabrics, pharmaceuticals, hardware, zippers, hook & loop, wire/cable, and electronic components). We have more than 46 years of printing experience. Our six printing presses of varying size and format capabilities (including narrow and mid-web flexographic, offset and Heidelberg letterpresses) give AMSPAK great flexibility in meeting a variety of print requirements. The most recent addition to our line of presses is a state-of-the-art Comco. It allows us an 8-color printing capability and can run .002 film up to .024 point board. It can print 4-color process and is also able to apply UV coating.
