Pedrino started the business in 1948, he had no idea it would grow to include over 25 employees - and thousands of happy customers. But that's exactly what happened. Sixty four years later, SonRise windows and Coating commemorated three generations of family ownership, trustworthy service and repeat business. The company originally sold and installed wood windows and doors. By 1965 the founding father was forced to hire his 13 year old son to keep up with demand for over 20 years, William and Don Pedrino headed the company together, improving homes in Southern California. In 1998 they relocated from Hawthorne to EI Segundo. Though the move only measured four miles, it catapulted the business from four part-timers to over 25 full-time employees. Working out of larger offices the company launched new home renovation products and catered to a growing list of clients. Don's son Billy was made partner in 1995. Three years later Billy's father Don retired and so was born SonRise Windows and Coating, headquarters in Yucaipa, CA. Billy's vision for Pedrino Home Remodeling is to bring to the window industry the core Principles he learned after spending 8 years in our United States Marine Corps which are honor, courage, and commitment. Billy partnered with Terri Pedrino in 1998 adding another key staff member with years of experience in the industry. Together, Billy and Terri have grown PHR from the local corner sash & door company to a full service window, coating and roofing company servicing all of Southern California. In the growth of Sonrise, the one thing that has remained constant is the personal service and attention that made the family business such a success since 1948.
