In 1977 Ken Harris started a small miscellaneous metals shop in Baltimore, MD. The company grew and began to work outside of the shop, doing small jobs for different oil terminals in the area. In the early 1990's Gordon "Clay" Lau began working for Harris as a Welder. After many years with Atlantic Welders, Harris decided to sell his company to JWF Industries, out of Johnstown, PA. In 2000, JWF asked Clay to take control and become an owner. Since that time Atlantic Welders had dedicated themselves to expanding in the industry and provided excellent work to all customers at an afforable cost.
