About Our Company Precast stone was second nature to Mark Arban. His father, grandfather and great grandfather had a long history of manufacturing stone in Italy and Germany. He had also grown up working for his father's precast stone business in Alexandria, VA., since his boyhood in the 40's. In 1963, Mark Arban began his own precast stone business in a one car garage in Alexandria Va. Business thrived over the years. In 1976, the company expanded and built a new plant in Dumfries, VA. It became one of the most prominent precast stone companies in the Washington, DC area.
