Founded in 1981 by Eugene (Gene) and Barbara Clinton, Clinton Electric, Inc., located in Ina, Illinois, specializes in industrial and commercial electrical contracting. Gene’s career in the electrical industry began in 1963 as an apprentice with IBEW Local Union 702, eventually advancing to Journeyman Electrician, General Foreman, and Superintendent before founding the company. As a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and affiliated with IBEW Local Union 702, Clinton Electric provides an experienced workforce capable of handling new construction, renovations, repairs, general maintenance, plant shutdowns, and emergency projects. While primarily serving southern Illinois, the company also travels further to meet customer needs.
