Before starting FOS Telecom I spent 6 years with Corning Cable Systems out of Hickory, NC working as a field technician and a project manager. During my time with Corning, I was constantly updating my skills and knowledge on all aspects of fiber optics with a heavy emphasis on subjects such as fiber theory, splicing, testing, troubleshooting and network design. I have the latest splice and test equipment, including the most up-to-date Exfo equipment with the iOLM software for the most reliable testing and test results available and the Fujicura 70R for the lowest loss, highest quality ribbon splicing available. I also have brand new, Corning OS One single fiber splicers as well, with the capability to splice not only single fiber, but also FuseLight connectors.
