Johnny Wink’s motto is “get fired UP” and Megabucks Louisiana Duck Guides is for anyone, regardless of gender, age, or level of duck hunting experience. A glimpse through 4 decades worth of photos reveals a warm family atmosphere and southern hospitality at its finest. Smiling youngsters and wives with first ducks or geese may seem like Johnny’s singular mission in life during the Louisiana duck season, but the same thing can just as easily be said about his taking perfect care of decades-long clients that have become like family, groups of out-of-state coworkers that come for team-building experiences in the duck blind, fully grown first-timers that want to experience what it’s all about, and seasoned hunters from further up the flyway that want to score fully-plumed ducks on the wintering grounds, such as the bull sprigs and speckle-bellies for which the region is renowned.
