Cindy & Mike Frisch started A Stars & Stripes Flag Corporation in 1977. Most of their customers found them through direct mail marketing and yellow page advertising. They operated the business as a team until Mike’s passing in 1999. Cindy continued to operate the business until 2001 when the overwhelming demand for American Made US flag products combined with staffing changes resulted in the need for additional assistance. Cindy asked her niece, Laurie Olsen, to join her team and learn the business. As the flag industry and the ways customers learn about our products changed, we have stayed on the cutting edge of product offerings and ways to communicate to our customers. In 2007, Laurie purchased A Stars & Stripes Flag Corporation and continues to maintain Mike & Cindy’s vision of delivering exceptional quality, excellent customer service and flags made in America.
