Savage was founded as a sole proprietorship in May, 1974, and was incorporated a year later. Savage is a preferred supplier to prime contractors in the aerospace and defense industries. Savage provides sheet metal fabrication, multi-axis machining; milling, turning, Quality assurance, aluminum aging, aluminum solution heat treat, welding, prime/paint/fuel tank/powder coat, detailed assembly, mechanical assembly, custom packaging and supply chain solutions. In 2010 Savage was awarded the National Subcontractor of the Year as well as it's 5th SBA of the Year, Region VI.
