No Idle Hands mission is to decrease youth violence in Chicago by exposing the alternatives to crime and the streets. If occupied by positive events, they will be less likely to cause crimes or become victims of them. We use technology to make our communities aware of the positive activities and resources at their disposal. For this purpose, we provide to the Chicago community a free online calendar of youth events that is accessible at all times. The calendar is made available to other organizations, churches, community leaders, etc. to post their youth events and activites for free. The objective is for this calendar to serve as the centralized location for all events youth related to be used as a tool for students, educators and parents alike.
