Music Therapy is the planned and systematic use of music to achieve non-musical therapeutic aims with children, adolescents and adults who have special needs because of social/behavioral, emotional, psychological, physical, intellectual and/or communication difficulties. Gracenote Music Therapy sees individual clients in our Campbell studio and provides group music therapy in hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. Music Therapy interventions include chanting, singing, playing instruments, rhythmic entrainment, music listening, learning through music, dance and movement, song writing, music reminiscence, improvisation, and adapted music lessons.
