My style is warm, genuine and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, nurturing and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. As a therapist, my goal is to facilitate self-awareness and change through use of interventions that are tailored to fit the needs of my clients. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when working with individuals dealing with issues like anxiety and depression, to help my clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors and to help them create a more balanced view of themselves and others. As a Psychodynamic therapist, I find it useful to explore the past as well as the present to bring awareness to how clients have come to be who they are and to create goals that reflect my client's hopes for the future.
