I earned my master's of Counseling Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo. This program is nationally accredited and the only one of its kind in Hawaii. My overarching theoretical orientation is Humanistic in that I believe that human beings have within themselves the resources to heal their bodies, minds, hearts and lives. Our searches for meaning and wholeness often find resolution only when we find a way to share our pain and confusion with a non-judgmental witness whose key functions are to witness, understand, and see us as we truly are.
