We provide Food Assistance to the Working Impoverished: Our mission is to alleviate the malnutrition of the impoverished residents of Northern Nevada. Currently, we are providing food to the local community in the area bounded by S. Virginia, Highway 395, Vassar St, and Moana Lane. We have participants that come from Sun Valley and Fernley at times, but our present focus area is the geographical area listed above. Our newsletter has more details of our efforts Hands of Hope Food Bank, a Federally recognized 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, 509(a)(1) Public Charity. We recieve NO government funding for our organization. This is a Hand Up, and NOT a Hand Out! We have been open in our new location at 295 Gentry Way, Suite 19 for over a year now.
