The Texas State Troopers Association is an organization that is dedicated to serving our active and retired members of the Texas Department of Public Safety. The association is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation organized under section 501(c)(5) of the Internal Revenue Code. Although we are not associated with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas State Troopers Association provides those who are active or retired from the department. We offer a number of benefits to our members, including accidental death and dismemberment insurance, legal counsel and representation in matters related to the good faith performance of their duties as law enforcement officers, free preparation of a Last Will and Testament, advocacy before the Texas Legislature, and financial assistance to Troopers and their families in times of crisis and extraordinary need.
