Dollars For Teens is a educational community based program that includes a training class for young adults entering the work force,especially during the summer months. Local businesses, large and small are participating. Requirements for businesses include at least hiring one teen for a minimum of 10 hours per week and at least 4 weeks. Potential employees wil be trained how to interact and taught what is to be expected in todays workforce. They will be required to attend a class, attend mandatory lecture from local community business persons and local police department. This one of a kind program will prove to be innovative, fun, and educational. As a Youh coach, I have worked with teens in numerous situations and they are ready to show the community that they can be productive persons if given the chance. Join us in being a sponsor or providing a job this summer for one of our certified teens. The program is designed to assist and maintain self sufficiency and become more employable in the workforce.
